Islands of Nature, Jejudo and Wando

The clean area, Jeju is considered the best place for fish culture because the continental shelf is spread over around a depth of 100m and because Jeju is an uncontaminated area of sea having rich dissolved oxygen. Geologically it has good environmental features because it can maintain the best water temperature for inhabitation of halibut by using underground bedrock seawater centering around south-east coast.

Wando has the mud flat (64.8km2) formed along the coastline and marine afforestation (seaweed) formed on nearshore waters, which perform natural cleaning effect. And also the quality of halibut is better because the water temperature is about 5° lower than those of other areas.
